Review by Allyson Rankin, Plymouth, MA

My Birthday Wish for the Year is the perfect book for getting a child excited about seeing more of the world! Ade lists many unique landmarks across the United States, each one for the purpose of grounding children into the vast and bright world we all live in. I would also say the book is good for language development, with the individualized rhymes and funky words that are both easy to remember and fun to repeat. There are wonders all around us, and if you dream big, who knows? You might just be able to see them for yourself!
