Allyson Rankin Reviews Finding Your North Star by Sharon Richmond

A book jam-packed with metaphors in the smallest of details, Finding Your North Star is a story that covers a wide range of topics, though none of these are more important than finding the ideal of finding your own path—trusting your moral compass to help you make the right decision for yourself. Vincent struggles with the push and pull of wanting to be accepted with his new group of friends and wanting to be his own unique self; perhaps a necessary struggle we all must face, but one that is nonetheless plagued with challenges and confusion. 

Richmond emphasizes how important it is to have people around you to remind you of who you are and what you truly care about, and Moore’s art direction is simply stunning! Struggling to find your path, your “North Star,” is something all of us must do, but it’s just as important to know that you aren’t alone in your pursuit, and that your true path will always be waiting for you.
