Bradykin’s Global Adventure: A Volunteer Mission is an astoundingly important and well written book, inspiring both early-stage literacy and global empathy in children everywhere. Bradykin, a real life Coton de Tulear dog from Massachusetts, teaches readers all about humanitarian foundations and allows us to peek at how they operate, with so many different volunteers doing good and helping those in need no matter what kind of dog they are or where they come from!
Susan & Denis Downing’s story extends past the pages into real-world impact through the Bradykin Children’s Foundation. The foundation packages this book into care packages alongside plush toys and sends them to children in hospitals around the globe, bringing much needed comfort, hope, and emotional support along with them. The combined rhyming of the book’s words and sincerity of this message makes Bradykin’s Global Adventure an excellent book for young and old alike!
