Nichole Conran Reviews “Mystery at Chilmark” by Dianne Hunt Smith

In this debut novel by Dianne Hunt Smith, a gifted character unlocks family secrets with assistance from the beyond. The reader follows the main character on a journey toward learning the history of her family, aware that there is a mystery that has yet to be discovered. While on this path, she finds that her gifts have strengthened, as she is able to connect with the other side.  

This is a cozy mystery with interesting characters. Being from MA, it was fun to read about some of the towns the character speaks of. The dynamic between the main characters and other characters is quite imaginative. The suspense and excitement over the secrets the character unravels, both within her family and within herself, is engaging to read. I’m looking forward to what will come next in this series!
